Officials looking for two possibly connected to Dows shooting

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office is looking to identify two subjects possibly connected to a shooting near the Dows exit in Franklin County early Sunday morning. Surveillance footage from a nearby convenience store showed the two individuals possibly connected to the incident in the store shortly before the shooting occurred.
The subjects are a black male and female, seen driving a gray or silver SUV, possibly a Jeep Cherokee. Anyone with information to the identity of the two subjects should call the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office at 641-456-2731.
The shooting was reported at 1:30 a.m. Sunday morning. A victim was transported via ambulance to Mercy Medical Center – North Iowa in Mason City. The incident continues to be under investigation by the Iowa Department of Criminal Investigation and the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.
