North Iowa Top Guns compete nationally

SPARTA, Ill. – Five members of the North Iowa Top Guns trapshooting group competed at the 2017 AIM Grand Championship Singles national meet recently, two taking home hardware.
Jackson Wohlford was the Pre-Sub Class B runner-up and Tommy Baltes was third in the Junior Gold Class A competition.
Age classes for Pre-Sub are 11 and under, Sub-Junior is age 12-14 and Junior Gold is age 18-22.
“All of our kids, because we had one Junior Gold, we had to compete in that class, and finished fourth,” North Iowa Top Guns coach Ray Baltes said. “That warranted mention because most we were competing against were mostly 18-22.”
