No. 8 Clear Lake tops young H-D

HAMPTON – An experienced and tough Class 3A No. 8 Clear Lake girls’ basketball team came into Hampton on Friday night and ran away with a 72-50 win over the young Hampton-Dumont team.
The Bulldogs had no answer for senior Emily Snelling, who put up 33 points against the Bulldogs on 10-of-15 shooting.
But after H-D has faced two tough ranked teams in the first two games of the season, coach Miranda Valley already says she has seen improvement.
