No. 6 H-D throws for six TD passes in homecoming rout

HAMPTON – This just in: Hampton-Dumont’s passing game is more than passing.

In fact, it’s A-plus.

The Bulldogs passed for six touchdowns, the shortest of which went for 19 yards in a 56-20 homecoming win over Garner-Hayfield/Ventura on Friday, Sept. 19 to improve to 4-0 overall, 1-0 in Class 2A District 2 play.

“I thought Cole did a nice job, obviously, of throwing the ball,” H-D head coach Jerry Shafrath said. “I’m not sure how many guys scored with the pass, but it’s one thing we’ve been able to do: is score...."
