No. 5 Cougars rout Grundy Center

ACKLEY – AGWSR, ranked fifth in Class 1A, wasted little time in downing Grundy Center on Monday, June 12.
The Cougars defeated the Spartans 12-0 in three innings as Taryan Barrick threw a no-hit shutout of the visitors.
She got plenty of support with two hits apiece from Alana Groninga, Makenna Kuper and Rachel Sicard, the last of which hit a double and drove in four of AGWSR’s runs.
