LATIMER – Class 1A No. 4 Nevada showed why it wants to go back to the state title match it lost in 2015 and claim victory.
With senior Kati Cassabaum scoring seven goals – a hat trick before the match was even 10 minutes old – and five of the first 10, the Cubs meant business in an eventual 19-0 win over the CAL/H-D/B-K girls’ soccer team.
She also added a pair of assists.
