No. 4 H-D pulls away from scrappy AGWSR team

ACKLEY – Taking a one-point lead into the half, Class 3A No. 4 Hampton-Dumont made the adjustments necessary to overcome a determined AGWSR girls’ basketball team, 80-65 on Monday, Dec. 1.

Jordan Prantner scored 18 of her game-high 28 points in the second half, getting free for four three-pointers in the final 16 minutes of play.

“The second half we wanted to come out and pick up the defensive intensity,” Prantner said. “So we switched to man-to-man and the big emphasis was to not make cheap fouls and that was something we worked on in the second half....."
