No. 3 West Fork rallies by A-P

SHEFFIELD – Trailing by seven early, third-ranked West Fork’s boys basketball team turned on the jets to rally by Aplington-Parkersburg in a non-conference tilt on Thursday, Jan. 16.

Sam Amsbaugh’s 31 points on a perfect night from the field led five Warhawks in double-figure scoring in the 86-71 win against the Falcons. Amsbaugh finished 13-of-13.

With a solidly-built team, A-P was the first squad to out-rebound West Fork 22-13 but it wasn’t enough to keep coach Frank Schnoes’ squad from going to 9-0 overall.
