LAKE MILLS – Superintendents from both the Corn Bowl Conference and North Iowa Conference met on Tuesday, Feb. 18 to discuss the creation of a new super conference made up of 18 school districts from across north Iowa.

This concept was under discussion for more than a year, but it took less than two hours for the superintendents of both conferences to reach a consensus that a two-division concept with some flexibility for scheduling was the go-ahead plan, according to a release sent out last week.

Athletic directors for West Fork and North Butler, when contacted, said they had nothing to add until the joint meeting which was held March 5.
