New line-up not enough against C-N

LATIMER – Even with a revamped line-up CAL found it hard to reach the scoreboard against 8-4 Colo-Nesco on Friday night.

In the last week, coach Bradley Waddle has shook up the Cadets starting line-up, but the Royals made that a non-issue in a 77-25 Iowa Star Conference boys basketball game.

Austin Guerrero, in only his second start on varsity, scored 10 points in the first half and led CAL in scoring despite not getting on the board in the second half.

He and Mario Yanez had their first starts this week.
