New JH lap-tops, staff additions greet H-D students this fall

For Hampton-Dumont Superintendent Todd Lettow, the frenzied rush of a new school year is always a welcomed spectacle each August.


“I truly mean this every year – this is an exciting time,” he said. “It’s always exciting and very hectic.”


Students throughout the district may feel differently, but there’s little time to pout – classes start on Tuesday, Aug. 19. Preparation at H-D’s four school buildings has gone according to plan recently, but Lettow said students should expect few changes in the curriculum and classroom environment when they arrive next week.
