Musica Ficta Quintet Band and Harmony Rox Quartet at Wilder Park Aug 28th

The audience will be treated to two groupsof quality musicians beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Wed Aug 28,at Wilder Park, Allison.

A Sweet Adelines Quartet Group, HarmonyRox, will perform at 6:30 p.m. They haveperformed at several celebrations and specialevents including Sturgis Falls, Cedar FallsMunicipal Band, many churches and lotsof organizations.They placed fourth in a Sweet Adelines QuartetRegional competition.

At 7 p.m. the Musica Ficta Quintet willperform for the fourth time in Wilder Park. Thisgroup is “special” because they include a drummerwith their five peice ensemble.  They have a unique sound with the added percussion whichwill be appreciated when they play marches,jazz numbers, show tunes and classics.

The summer’s free entertainment is madeavailable through the efforts of Dave Smith,Allison, and several sponsors including: Dr.George North Family, Allison Pharmacy, FarmersFeed And Grain, Butler County Abstract andthe Allison Park Board.

Treat yourself to some refreshments and popcornavailable during the performance.
