Moore sells Hampton dental practice

Long-time dentist Dr. Bill Moore has retired after more than 36 years in Hampton.

Moore finalized the sale of his practice to Dr. Jake Sorensen last Friday. Sorensen has six years of experience in dentistry and officially took over operations in Hampton on Monday. He also has an office located in Clear Lake and will be assisted here by Dr. Jonathan Smiley.

The local dentist office has been owned and operated by the Moore family since 1946. Moore’s father, Robert, opened the practice in Hampton after serving in the Navy and eventually turned over control to his son.
