Missed PKs, missed opportunities for Cadets

LATIMER – Three missed penalty kicks came back to haunt the CAL/H-D/B-K boys soccer team in a 3-2 double overtime loss to Denver at home on Friday, May 12.
Two first half attempts, one by Jerry Garcia and the other by Pedro Castillo wouldn’t go. Garcia’s hit the post and goalkeeper Elijah Cheever made the save on the other.
Jose Zarate missed a second-half penalty kick that Cheever got his mitts on, as well.
“We have to punish them on the chances that we get,” Cadet coach Micah McMorris said...
