Leonardo Ceja 10-2; No. 4 – Alex Wiltsie (MCJV) def. Nate White 10-3; No. 5 – Jason Stine (MCJV) def. Jonny Victor 10-0; No. 6 – Andrew Zehr (MCJV) def. Zane Crain 10-6.

Doubles: No. 1 –  Matthews-Andrews (MCJV) def. Del Valle 10-4; No. 2 – Borchardt-Wiltsie (MCJV) def. Clark-White 10-8; No. 3 – Zehr-Josh Hansen (MCJV) def. Crain-Jacob Grefe 10-8.

JV Singles – Alex Hert lost 6-2; Roman Gonzales lost 6-0; Jacob Grefe won 3-2.

JV Doubles – Jonny Victor-Tyler Mask lost 6-3; Trysten LaRue-Trevor Grefe lost 6-2; Fugi Contreras-Omar Blanco lost 6-4.

 

HAMPTON – While Mason City chose to not play its varsity against coach Jim Davies’ Hampton-Dumont varsity boys team, the Mohawks’ JV still emerged with a 10-1 victory against the Bulldogs on Monday, April 21.

The lone victory for H-D in the 10-1 Mason City team win was Jesus Del Valle, who dominated 10-2 over Mohawk freshman Michael Andrews.
