Lippert earns E. Wayne Cooley Scholarship award from IGHSAU

ACKLEY – Senior Bethany Lippert of AGWSR High School has been named the recipient of the E. Wayne Cooley Scholarship Award presented by the Iowa Girls’ High School Athletic Union.
The E. Wayne Cooley Scholarship Award was established in 1993 by the Board of Directors serving the Iowa Girls’ High School Athletic Union. It pays tribute to the man who guided the Iowa Girls’ High School Athletic Union from 1954 to 2002.
The profile of the recipient reflects discipline, perseverance, character, superior skill, achievement and citizenship traits, which personify the life and expectations of the namesake. In the maintenance of Dr. E. Wayne Cooley’s philosophy and memory, the recipient is truly a champion of her peers.
