Eagle Grove athletes make local boys’ day
 
Letter to the Editor:
 
     I am writing in response to a wonderful act of kindness that members of the Eagle Grove Boys’ Track Team showed to four young boys.
     On Saturday, May 2, after participating in the H-D Relays, the Eagle Grove track team was ready to head back home. Members of the team spotted a lemonade stand and convinced their coaches and bus driver to stop. The looks on the young boys’ faces as the bus drove up was priceless!
     The young men from Eagle Grove were polite, well-mannered, and represented their community and school district proudly. Thank you to these fine young men, the coaches and bus driver who selflessly brought huge smiles and made the day of four young boys (ages 7-11).
     What a proud moment!
