Last-second shot doesn’t fall for Bulldogs against IF-A

HAMPTON – Hampton-Dumont coach Miranda Valley doesn’t want to blame the officiating for what ended up as a 39-38 loss for her team against Iowa Falls-Alden, but she does admit there was some disparity in the number of foul calls and foul shots taken between both teams.
The Cadets put up 24 free throws compared to just four for the Bulldogs – the last foul shot proving to be the difference – as H-D fell to 1-3, 1-2 in the North Central Conference on Tuesday, Dec. 13.
