AMES – Josh Knipfel is no stranger to hard work.
He talks a lot about working hard and competing every single game even after the offensive right guard who has started every game for the Associated Press No. 24 Iowa State Cyclones have beaten two top-five teams.
That, he says, is the feedback he gets along with every player on the team from the coaching staff.
“I guess as the whole team (hears), ‘just dial into the details and keep our head down and keep working,’” Knipfel said, “‘every game is a big game, don’t live in the past and get better every day.’”
