Judith Ellen Wilson

Judith Ellen (Warschkow) Wilson was born on March 17, 1944 in Iowa Falls, Iowa. The daughter of Orma (Dass) and Ernest Warschkow. She graduated from Iowa Falls High School in the class of 1962. She was united in marriage to Dennis Gerold Wilson on July 14, 1963 in the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Iowa Falls.

During the 52 years of marriage, Judy was a farm wife for many years. A head baker for the Iowa Falls School system, and many years as a Hy-Vee employee as a checker and demonstrator and read meters for REC. While raising five daughters she also enjoyed raising and breeding Appaloosa horses and POA’s ponies. She was also very sociable and loved people and making personal connections with people that would always result in turning into friendships.

Some of her hobbies were sewing, baking, and cooking homemade meals for family and her daughter’s friends. She loved cooking and feeding people – her showing love. Her specialty was her famous chili that she won a chili cook-off with and her homemade potato salad.

Judy is survived by five daughters, 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren: Jodi McCloud of Iowa Falls, grandchildren- Nikki McCloud, Tyler McCloud, and Jesse McCloud, Jean Wilson of Ames, Iowa, granddaughter Brittney Wilson, great-grandchildren-Keyara Hill and Charles David Hill Jr., Amber Minard (Mike Minard) of Ackley, grandchildren-Mersadez Minard, Logan Minard and Dominic Minard, Amanda Jacobsen (Jason Jacobsen) of Cedar Rapids, granddaughter-Sophia Jacobsen, Alicia Wenzel (Sam Wenzel) of Iowa Falls, grandchildren-Riley Rankin, Karaline Rankin, Reece Rankin and Sawyer-Ryan Wenzel, brother Ron Warschkow (Carol Warschkow) of Iowa Falls and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
