Jones, Caspers power West Fork past Lake Mills in 2A regional

SHEFFIELD – Lexi Jones had that look in her eye.
A determined look that read, ‘you can’t stop me,’ and it was nearly impossible to turn back the West Fork junior as she poured in a career-high 29 points, adding five rebounds, five assists and four steals in the Warhawks 78-61 Class 2A Region 5 victory over Lake Mills.
She was finding a crease in the Bulldogs defense and driving in to score at will as she was 11-of-16 from the field and 7-of-8 from the free throw line to lead the way.
