John M. Miller

John M. Miller, 85, of Hampton, Iowa, formerly of Grundy Center, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2014, at Franklin General Hospital in Hampton.  He was born on August 1, 1928, on a farm in Grundy County, Iowa, to Jake and Hattie (Schipper) Miller. 

A memorial service was held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, August 2, 2014, at the First Christian Church in Hampton, with Pastor Alan Berneman officiating.  There was no visitation held.  Burial took place in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Grundy Center.  The Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home of Hampton was in charge of the arrangements.
