HCC named 2013 9-hole Golf Course of Year by IGA

HAMPTON – Improvements to Hampton Country Club has led it to be named the 2013 9-Hole Golf Course of the Year by the Iowa Golf Association.

The last two years has brought the addition of hole markers and new elite gold tees, according to HCC manager Angie Harper.

“It’s a huge thing for a golf course to get an award like this,” Harper said. “There are several 9-hole golf courses in Iowa, more so than 18-hole courses and so it’s a real big honor.”
