Hansen becomes first West Fork state qualifier

PARKERSBURG – Jacob Hansen made West Fork High School history by becoming the first-ever state wrestling qualifier on Saturday, Feb. 15 at Aplington-Parkersburg.

Hansen, wrestling at 120 pounds, pinned North Butler’s Dalton Nelson in 3 minutes, 27 seconds in the semifinal and went on to earn a 7-5 decision over Hudson’s Taylan Entriken to not only qualify, but go as a district champion.
