Hampton United Methodist Church welcomes new pastor

The United Methodist Church in Hampton has appointed a new pastor.
Rev. Dr. Michael Adedokun is originally from the Nigerian Conference of the United Methodist Church, but has lived in the United States for over 15 years. Adedokun has extensively traveled to several parts of the world for mission work and his studies.
Dr. Adedukun graduated from Immanuel College of Theology and the University of Ibadan, Nigeria (B.A., M.A.), University of Birmingham, England (M.A.) and Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas. While working on his Masters and Doctoral programs at SMU, Dallas, Adedokun enrolled in several units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) to strengthen his pastoral practice and counseling skills. Dr. Adedokun loves working with children, young adults and elderly persons and praying with them in their home.
