Hampton chamber readies for Summerfest

     Hampton's 19th annual Summerfest is on the way and the Greater Franklin County Chamber of Commerce has a few new events and attractions to entertain the community.
     Starting on Friday, August 26 at 5:30 p.m., a sidewalk chalk art contest will be held at Band Shell Park. Winners of the contest will receive a wristband, good for unlimited access to the inflatables that will be up over the weekend.
     Also new on Friday will be an outdoor movie. Families are invited to Band Shell Park to enjoy a screening of "Cars," which will be projected at the band shell. The movie is being sponsored by The Garage Tavern in Coulter, who will have a food truck serving during the event.
