H-D records seventh straight

HAMPTON – Ever since the calendar turned to January, Hampton-Dumont’s girls basketball team has experienced a resurgence.
The Bulldogs played Class 4A No. 2 Nevada tough and then proceeded to reel off their seventh straight, a 55-36 victory over North Central Conference rival Fort Dodge St. Edmond on Thursday, Jan. 26.
And the final score doesn’t indicate how much of a dominant performance coach Miranda Valley’s team had against the Gaels, pulling all of her starters at the beginning of the fourth quarter.
