H-D overcomes Humboldt defense

HUMBOLDT – Newly-ranked eighth in Class 3A, Hampton-Dumont’s girls basketball team had to overcome a strong defensive effort by Humboldt on Friday night.

The result was a 36-33 road victory for coach Chad Johnson’s squad to improve to 11-2 overall.

Kennedy Wohlford posted 10 points, 16 rebounds and seven blocked shots before fouling out.
