H-D girls outlast Forest City in double overtime

HAMPTON – Hampton-Dumont senior Cassy Miller has played in a lot of exciting basketball games over the last three years.
After Monday’s 65-63 double overtime thriller over Forest City, she ranks this one pretty high among the most exciting.
She distributed her ninth assist of the game to her freshman sister, Courtney, which turned out to be the game-winner with just under five seconds to go in the second extra period.
“Pretty high on the list,” Miller said. “It was nice, I drove in and then she was setting there waiting for the shot, so (I handed it off).”
