H-D girls golf coach tops husband, daughter in quadrangular

ACKLEY – More than school bragging rights were on the line when Hampton-Dumont teed off with AGWSR along with Grundy Center and Aplington-Parkersburg on Monday, April 24.
Bulldog head coach Carlene Bergeson faced off with Cougar co-coaches Stacy Bergeson (her daughter) and Dan Bergeson (her husband) in a meet that was so close, three strokes separated team scoring.
“It made it a special win tonight because Stacy Bergeson and Dan Bergeson are the AGWSR coaches and they beat us earlier this year in our two-gal tournament,” Carlene Bergeson said....
