H-D girls’ tennis plays closest match yet

MASON CITY – Hampton-Dumont’s second-year girls tennis team nearly earned its first team win ever in a close 5-4 loss at Mason City on Monday, April 21.

The Bulldogs earned singles wins from Brittany Bolerjack, Alysa Buck and Brooklyn Plagge at Nos 1, 3 and 4 and both Bolerjack and Athena Levad teamed up to win at No. 1 doubles against the Mohawks’ varsity.
