H-D coach notches first win

HAMPTON – First-year Hampton-Dumont softball head coach Kelsey Enslin’s first coaching victory couldn’t have come at a better time against an opponent the Bulldogs have had a dry spell against.
Keying on a two-out error in the opening inning, H-D built a three-run lead right away and never let up in the eventual 8-3 triumph on Wednesday, May 31.
“It was a relief,” Enslin said of her first win. “We haven’t won against Webster City in a while, I think it was four years, maybe. It was definitely a big win for us.”
