The Geneva Market has finally come home.
For its fourth year in operation, the bi-annual Geneva Market held their first weekend event within the city of Geneva on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 22 and 23.
Previously held at nearby Maynes Grove Park, this fall's marketplace was set up at their new location, the former Geneva school building. The market committee has put a lot of work into cleaning and restoring the old building, hoping to turn it into a resource for the community for more than just the bi-annual market.
"We want to be able to rent the building out for meetings," said Tonya Sanders, one of the market's organizers.
