Fisher runner-up on Senior Night

IF-A/AGWSR senior Aubrie Fisher, however, has been running a long time and put in more miles than ever during the Summer months. It showed in her runner-up finish behind Humboldt’s Bryce Gidel on the Maynes Grove course.

“I think it paid off really well because I felt really good the whole race,” Fisher said of her training. “I was really happy with my time because it was my best one I’ve ever gotten here.”

Fisher crossed in 19:47.69, 17 seconds back of Gidel and 10 in front of Aplington-Parkersburg’s Sophia Jungling, using a really strong kick to finish...
