Students at Hampton-Dumont’s elementary schools closed out the school year with a celebration for good behavior.

This year, students were challenged to lead as examples through Positive Behavior Interventions and Support (PBIS).

“The basis is creating a positive environment for students to feel safe and secure to do their best every day,” said Robin Maas, an instructor at South Side.

Through PBIS, students are encouraged to act under the BARK guidelines – Be safe, Act responsibly, Respect others and Keep working hard.
