Eiklenborg medals, H-D wins opener

WELLSBURG – Bet on the Bulldogs’ golf team this season.
In a good-natured, non-monetary way, Hampton-Dumont’s boys golfers were wagering with each other what the others shot after golfing the first round of the season at Meadowbrook Golf Course in Wellsburg.
Whether the members of the Bulldogs were spot-on or not, they won the triangular hosted by AGWSR by three strokes over Aplington-Parkersburg, 153-156. AGWSR brought up the rear, shooting 171.
