Edward Kloetzer, 96, of Geneva, passed away on Thursday July 9, 2015 at the Heritage Care Center in Iowa Falls.
Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M. Monday at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Hampton with burial in the Grant Township Cemetery, rural Bradford. Visitation will be 2-4 P.M. Sunday at the Sietsema Funeral Home in Ackley.
Edward Oscar Kloetzer was born on December 5, 1918 in Franklin County, Iowa, the son of Kurt and Ella (Poley) Kloetzer. He served in the U.S. Army from 1941-45. He had farmed all of his life and was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Hampton and the Elliott Keninger American Legion Post #252 of Ackley.
Edward is survived by his sister, Elfrieda Miller of Iowa Falls; two brothers, Raymond (Vivian) Kloetzer of Ackley and Donald Kloetzer of Iowa Falls; and a sister-in-law, Mildred Kloetzer of Iowa Falls.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters, Lillian Lehr, Clara Ploeger, Erna Roelfs, and Ruth Miller; and two brothers, Frank and Robert Kloetzer.
