Early detection helps Relay co-chairs land victories over cancer

The 2015 Relay For Life of Franklin County will be held this Saturday at the Hampton-Dumont High School track. Local residents are encouraged to participate and help support cancer survivors, their families and future medical research.
     The event kicks off at 11 a.m. and runs until 11 p.m. Multiple games and other fun activities are scheduled throughout the day for both kids and adults.
     This year’s Honorary Co-Chairs are Diane Hughes, Sheffield, and Wendy Wikert, Hampton. Here, the two women share stories from their battle against cancer.
