Dumont Implement owner sells business after half century sup-plying to farmers in 50-mile radius

Last week marked the end of a long road for one Dumont business owner.
     After 58 years as an employee and 49 as owner, Duane Wubbena has sold Dumont Implement Co., Inc., to Mark’s Tractor and Implement, effective Dec. 31. Mark, Wayne, Scott and Janet Taets run the Osage-based company.
     “The good part of it is, they even said I could come work for them,” Wubbena said. “So it’s going to give me something to do.”
     He said he is glad to be passing his business on to the Taets family.
