Dual threat QB stuns H-D in opener

HAMPTON – Even though Iowa Falls-Alden quarterback Tyjon Rose is known for his speed – running in the sprints in last year’s Class 3A state track meet – his arm made the difference in shocking Hampton-Dumont’s football team during the non-district season-opening tilt.
Rose completed more than half of his passes (9-of-17) for 195 yards and four scores as the Bulldogs fell to IF-A, 36-28, on Friday, Aug. 25.
“We watched him last week on tape and were a little surprised at how well he could throw,” H-D head coach Dan Aalbers said...
