Dr. Larry Alquist to retire

     In an unassuming brick building in a residential area just north of Central Avenue, Dr. Larry Alquist has quietly been serving the Hampton community for almost half a century.
     For the last 45 years many Hampton residents and members of the surrounding communities have come to Dr. Alquist for their dental health, and at the end of the month, Larry Alquist will be retiring.
     The long-time dentist has made Hampton his home, and truly enjoys the community.
     “It’s just a nice, quiet and pleasant town,” Dr. Alquist said, “The small town atmosphere, and the way people relate to each other, and the service organizations have been very supportive.”
