Dorothy Alice Heeren, 85, of Dumont, Iowa, passed away Monday, February 13, 2017, at Franklin General Hospital in Hampton. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, February 17, 2017, at the West Fork United Methodist Church in rural Sheffield, with Pastor Sandi Gobeli officiating. Visitation was held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, February 16, 2017, at the Sietsema Vogel Funeral Home in Dumont. Burial took place in the Ingham Township Cemetery, rural Hansell.
