ACKLEY – AGWSR was met by a hot-hitting West Marshall baseball team on Friday, June 16 and the end result was 14-3 loss for the home team in five innings.
The Cougars gave up six hits in a nine-run second inning and couldn’t recover against the Trojans at home.
“West Marshall played well tonight,” AGWSR coach David Showalter said. “They played hard, they found gaps, got runners moving, and brought energy and enthusiasm and did what they had to do to get the game done in five innings.”
