SHEFFIELD – Facing match point in the third set of a Corn Bowl Conference rivalry match, North Butler clawed its way back into it.

But West Fork was able to hold on in a 25-20, 25-16, 27-29, 23-25, 15-5 win over the Bearcats on Thursday, Sept. 11.

“The girls have really changed from last year, the girls feel more free to play their game,” North Butler coach Bryan Tabbert said. “I’m not going to yell at them if they miss a point, they know that.

“The girls love playing with each other. They keep coming back and are there for each other.”
