CLEAR LAKE – The Clear Lake volleyball team defeated Hampton-Dumont for the first time in four years with a 3-1 match at Clear Lake on Tuesday, Sept. 18.

The Bulldogs opened the match with a decisive 25-12 win, but lost momentum after that, falling to the Lions, 25-12, 15-25, 22-25, 19-25.

It thwarted a good overall night for Jennie Barkema, who tallied a team-high 11 kills and six blocks and a pair of digs.
