Kim Fennenman, daughter of Gary and Linda Fenneman, formerly of Clarksville, will be at the Clarksville Public Library on Friday, Sept. 13 from 2-4 p.m. and on Saturday, Sept. 14 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. to do a book signing on her newly published book, Corn-fed with Rice on the Side.

Kim was born in Seoul, South Korea, and adopted by the Fenneman family of Clarksville. She lived on the dairy farm until age eight when their house burned down and the family moved to the suburbs of Dallas, Texas.

Her book, Corn-fed with Rice on the Side, is a memoir of her life as a Korean adoptee, with light-hearted stories chronicling her life journey with the hope that other adoptees will find a piece of themselves and non-adoptees would gain a greater understanding of what it’s like to be adopted.

Please visit the Clarksville Public Library on Friday or Saturday while Kim is signing books (her parents will also be at the events). Books will be available for purchase for $13.95 each. Please use the library’s West door on Elizabeth Street, as the front door is temporarily closed.
