Clair ‘Spec’ Messerschmidt, 92, of Sheffield, died Thursday, June 9, 2016, at Franklin Country View Nursing Facility. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 15, at West Fork United Methodist Church with Pastor Sandy Gobeli presiding. Interment with Veteran’s honors will be at the West Fork Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 hour before the service at the church.
