Cause of Labor Day weekend fire in Latimer still unknown

     A fire set a Latimer home ablaze on Saturday, Sept. 3, a little before 1 a.m.
     Latimer Fire Chief Mike Keehn said personnel arrived to 121 Akir St. at approximately 1 a.m. and did not leave the scene until the fire was fully extinguished at approximately 5:30 a.m. Keehn said the house was engulfed when firefighters arrived.
     No one was in the house at the time of the fire, and no one was injured. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
