CAL/H-D/B-K girls soccer improvement evident despite shutout

LATIMER – It was obvious only two minutes into Monday’s home opener for CAL/H-D/B-K girls soccer match against Garner Hayfield/Ventura that the Cadets were already a better team than in 2014.
Looking at the match score of 8-0, however, some may find that hard to believe.
But the difference was remarkable.
In the first half alone, the Cadets had already controlled possession of the ball on their half of the field longer than in all of last season’s matches combined.
