CAL team improved against Clarksville, but Indians get sweep

CLARKSVILLE – One look at CAL’s crisp passing against Clarksville’s girls basketball team and it was evident the difference between the first game the two played was night and day.
But it still wasn’t enough as the Indians completed the season sweep with a 58-34 win over the Cadets on Friday, Jan. 6.
“They moved the ball very well against us tonight,” Clarksville coach Joe Huck said. “One of the things I remember from the first game that was really an advantage for us was that we got a lot of steals at or before half court. So that was instant, try to go back and get a lay-up. Tonight, a lot of our breaks were coming from the half court on the other end where we had to go down and defend...."
